2-Way Motorized Ball Valves

2-Way Motorized Ball Valves provide electrically actuated shutoff for water, compressed air, and compatible process media in systems where quarter-turn ball valve operation is preferred over solenoid-only valve designs. The BV Series combines a brass full-port valve body with electric motorized actuation for on-off control in utility, OEM, and process applications.

This series comes in 1/2 inch to 1-inch female NPT sizes and supports either XR22 or XR33 actuators. It supports 0 to 185 psi operation and fits continuous duty applications because the actuator draws power during actuation only.

Pressure, Temperature, and Media Fit

The BV Series operates from 0 to 185 psi, allowing it to function in systems that do not rely on differential pressure to actuate the valve. The listed media temperature range is 35 to 200°F. In addition, the application references include process water control, compressed air systems, chemical processing, HVAC and building automation, water distribution lines, and filtration systems.

Check material compatibility before selection, especially for chemical service, seal selection, and media exposure outside routine water or air duty.

Dimensions and Size Range

The BV Series is available in compact 1/2 inch to 1 inch sizes for threaded piping layouts, allowing engineers to check actuator clearance and valve envelope dimensions against nearby components or available panel space.

Pipe Size Port Size D1/D2 d (mm) L1 (mm) L2 (mm) E1 (mm) H1 (mm) H2 (mm)
1/2 inch 1/2 inch 15 57 12 25 83.5 16
3/4 inch 3/4 inch 20 65.5 15 31 88.5 19

OEM skids and control packages Compact motorized shutoff for packaged equipment
General utility shutoff Electrically actuated shutoff where quarter-turn control is preferred

Technical Resources

Review size, actuator type, supply voltage, and seal material before final selection. In addition, the ordering structure separates pipe size, seal material, wiring type, and voltage code, which makes quote matching easier for distributor and OEM workflows.

Technical Note

These valves are not for use in medical life support, combustion, aviation, aerospace, automotive, or similar applications. Review body and seal compatibility before final selection, especially for chemical processing service.
