Corrosion-Resistant Plastic Solenoid Valves control on-off flow for corrosive liquids and gases in chemical handling, dosing, treatment, and utility systems where metal valves may not be suitable.
Atlantic Valves currently offers two anti-corrosive series in this category: the PAC Series with a UPVC body for mild-to-moderate corrosive service, and the PCF Series with a PTFE body for more chemically aggressive applications. Buyers should base their selection on media compatibility, differential pressure, flow demand, and operating temperature.
The PAC Series is a 2-way pilot-operated valve for higher flow applications with adequate system pressure. At the same time, the PCF Series is a 2-way direct-acting valve for low or zero differential pressure applications, including gravity-fed or low-pressure systems. However, always review final material compatibility before specification.

Technical Specifications
This category includes two different anti-corrosive valve constructions. PAC fits larger port sizes and higher flow applications where the system can support pilot-operated performance, while PCF fits lower pressure systems and more aggressive chemical service where direct-acting operation and PTFE wetted materials matter more.

Pressure, Temperature, and Media Fit
The PAC Series fits mildly to moderately corrosive liquids and gases, including applications involving chlorine-treated water, saltwater circulation, low-concentration chemical dosing, and similar utility or process services. However, the PAC sheet specifically warns against highly concentrated acids, strong oxidizers, and highly abrasive chemicals.
Use the PCF Series for corrosive liquids and gases that require PTFE wetted components and direct-acting operation. In addition, the PCF sheet emphasizes compatibility with many acids, alkalis, and corrosive chemicals, while also stating that PTFE and Viton compatibility still needs review against the actual process media before selection.
From an application standpoint, choose PAC for broader flow, larger sizes, and higher Cv values, while select PCF when systems require low or zero differential pressure, gravity-fed operation, or resistance to aggressive chemical exposure.
Dimensions and Size Range
Because the two series have different constructions and size ranges, buyers should review dimensions by series rather than treat this as one interchangeable product family.
PAC Series Dimensions
| Pipe Size | Overall Height (H) | Port to Port Length (L) | Width (W) | Weight |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1/2 inch | 5.12 in | 3.10 in | 1.77 in | 2.43 lb |
| 3/4 inch | 5.31 in | 3.10 in | 1.77 in | 2.43 lb |

- PCF uses a PTFE body and PTFE wetted components for broader corrosive chemical resistance
- Both series are normally closed, 2-way on-off valves
- Both series can be mounted vertically or horizontally
- Both series use Viton seals and DIN 43650A coil connection
- Both series operate at 100% continuous duty within specified limits
- Always review the final body and seal compatibility against the actual media before selection

Technical Note
These valves are not intended for use in medical life support, combustion, aviation, aerospace, automotive, or similar applications. Review the chemical compatibility of body and seal materials before final selection. In addition, engineers should limit PAC to mild to moderately corrosive service, as noted in the spec sheet. However, they must still check PCF against the exact process media, despite its broader PTFE chemical resistance.
